The Cornet is a blond beer with woody flavor. This beer is brewed in honor of Solomon Maldeghem, a knight of the 11th century. It is Theodoor Cornet, manager of the Diepensteyn castle, who asked the brewery Den Hoorn to brew beer for the Count of Steenhuffel / Maldeghem in honor of his ancestor Solomon Maldeghem.
